Overview

Sauze d'Oulx is a ski resort in the province of Turin, Piedmont in northern italy, located 80 kilometres from Turin. It was the site of the Freestyle Skiing events of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games.

Sauze d'Oulx is part of the Via Lattea (Milky Way) skiing area along with the villages of Pragelato, Sestriere, Claviere, Cesana Torinese, San Sicario and Montgenèvre in France.

Sauze d'olux is a very lively resort popular with younger skiers and snowboarders. Its terrain is varied and suitable for all levels.

The resort offers great apres-ski with lots of bars and restaurants. It is a favorite destination for English skiers, who represent more than 70% of the tourism and who have now become part of the resident population.

Getting There

By Air:

From Torino Caselle airport you can reach Sauze d'Oulx by train or by car following A32 motorway

By Train:

With the train service Torino-Bardonecchia you arrive at Oulx station and here you can find the regular bus service to Sauze d'Oulx

By Car:

If you want to reach Sauze d'Oulx by car: take the motorway A32, which connects Torino with Bardonecchia-Frejus.Then you arrive at the tollgate of Oulx and you go on the trunk road. You can also follow S.S. 24 Monginevro
