Treble Cone is a ski resort located in the South Island of New Zealand, half an hour from the town of Wanaka. The resort boasts the largest skiable terrain, longest groomed trails and the highest vertical rise in the South Island. Its terrain is incredible and the scenery spectacular. Although Treble Cone has something from everyone, over 40% of the slopes are suited for advanced skiers and snowboarders making Treble Cone one of the most challenging resorts in New Zealand. Treble Cone now has a permanent terrain park which is maintained daily. Situated in the Saddle Basin at the end of the bullet run you will find an array of boxes, rails and jumps. There are three permanent landings that have been constructed by extensive earthworks, enabling park features to open early season. Eight rails are accessible in the park, suitable for beginners right through to advanced park rider The town of Wanaka offers accommodation and some apres ski activities. |
